Coronavirus (Covid-19) Statement

11th May 2020: UPDATE

Our position remains the same after last nights announcement, we will continue to work from home and make the odd trip to the workshop as and when necessary.

We are open for business, we have to be.

COLLECTIONS:
We have a collection area outside the workshop now, so when your job is ready and your invoice is settled, we will communicate with you to coordinate a suitable day for pickup so items aren’t left outside for too long.

INSTALLATIONS:
Currently we are not undertaking any on-site installations as we aren’t able to maintain social distancing during travel to and from site.

At a point where we are more frequently at the workshop, I suspect we’ll implement visits there by appointment only, that’ll help us manage social distancing and cleaning.

Otherwise, we’ll obviously be monitoring government announcements in the meantime and updating this page as we go along.

Stay safe and positive out there gang, it’s a tricky old time with some crazy highs and lows going on for everyone, at some point we’ll come out of the other side.

29th April 2020: UPDATE

Just a quickie to say we’re open… ish.

We’re estimating and designing from home during normal office hours, but we have machinery that needs almost daily maintenance, so we are in the workshop from time-to-time and able to make up signs and banners too, as and when.

Do email us if you need anything, we’d be pleased to help if we can info@countysignscornwall.co.uk

Stay safe and well and keep washing your hands!

Thanks

Mark

16th April 2020: UPDATE

So, with last nights announcement of a further 3 weeks of lockdown, I’m writing to confirm the workshop will remain closed for at least the next 3 weeks or until further notice.

We are still very much open for estimating and design work during our normal office hours, just not currently manufacturing, do email us at info@countysignscornwall.co.uk in the meantime

Stay safe and well and keep washing your hands!

All the best

Mark

24th March 2020: UPDATE

Things are changing so fast…

Inline with last nights announcements, we’ve taken the decision to close the workshop from today for at least 3 weeks or until further notice.

I have contacted customers who have active jobs by email today and advised them of the closure and subsequent delay, we will obviously give these jobs priority just as soon as we are back – thanks to all our customers who are being very understanding indeed, guess we’re all in the same boat.

I will be monitoring email from home and popping in to the workshop to check on machinery and the answer phone from time-to-time. There is a very limited chance we can get some work out during this time, we’ll just have to wait and see. Please email me if you need jobs producing and we’ll do the best we can for you.

Please continue to keep an eye on this page and our Facebook page for further updates.

Keep safe and well and see you again when this (hopefully) all blows over.

All the best

Mark

20th March 2020: UPDATE

As of Monday 23rd of March 2020, Matt and I will be working shifts, most likely on alternate days depending on our workload, this is to allow us to limit our family’s exposure to the virus.

From a business point of view, it is still our intention to operate Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, during that time we will always be contactable by email, but not always by phone; we won’t always be in the workshop.

It will be necessary on some days for the workshop to be locked closed while we work, no access will be permitted to the workshop under any circumstances on these days unless otherwise arranged directly with me in advance.

We will discuss with you on a job by job basis when jobs will be complete and when and how you will be able to collect from us, or when it can be delivered.

At this stage any on-site work should be able to be carried out as normal.

Please continue to keep an eye on our Facebook page for day-to-day updates relating to our ongoing flexible opening hours.

Thanks

Mark

18th March 2020

It’s a crazy time… but we are open for business and plan to be for the foreseeable future.

From Monday 23rd March 2020, we will be in the workshop and on-site as normal. We are not currently aware of any issues with supplies and have a good level of materials in stock if you need anything.

We are of course monitoring the situation on a daily basis and we want you to be aware we may make some adjustments to our operation, as we see fit, as we go along.

For example we may adjust our office hours to have maximum flexibility to support our families, we may choose to work from home ad-hoc, or we may close for a day or more (if there is a significant downturn in work for example). We will do our best to make this info clear via Facebook.

Wherever we are working and whatever change we make, we will always be contactable by email during our normal office hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

We are aiming to deliver any current projects on schedule as agreed and we are still very much here to support you and your business in these uncertain times as I hope you are for us.

Collecting work from us is fine, just give us a ring before you make a trip in case we are not here. Also happy to arrange delivery if needed, talk to us.

If you are making a new enquiry please do so by phone or email for the next few weeks.

That’s it, stay safe and healthy, look out for each other and see you on the other side.
